Dynasty Electric Vehicle Ltd is pleased to announce it has been awarded the 2005 Applied Energy Innovation Award, given out annually by the Canadian Institute of Energy (BC) ( www.cienergy.org ). The Applied Energy Innovation award recognizes innovative energy projects or technologies which have been implemented in British Columbia or elsewhere by BC-based firms in a commercial setting. In addition to demonstrated energy savings (or energy output in the case of alternative energy projects), evaluative criteria for this award include the degree of innovation and indirect benefits. Past recipients have included Azure Dynamics ,Ballard Power Sysytem and Carmanah Technologies. The award will be presented to Dynasty at an awards luncheon in Vancouver on May 31.

The Canadian Institute of Energy (CIE) (www.cienergy.org) is a broadly based, non-profit organization open to those involved in all aspects of the energy industry. The objectives of the B.C. Division are to provide a British Columbia perspective on energy technology, business and policy; to encourage energy research, education and dissemination of topical information; and to provide an unbiased forum for discussion and debate of energy-related issues. Membership at both the organizational and individual level is comprised of representatives of B.C. energy companies, consulting and service firms related to the energy industry and government and regulatory agencies.

Dynasty Electric Vehicle Ltd designs, manufactures and markets zero emission, electric Low Speed Vehicles (LSV's) for urban, recreational and light commercial markets such as planned and gated communities, destination resorts, industrial complexes and universities. Dynasty's head office and manufacturing facility is located in Delta, B.C. Dynasty began the design of the IT line of electric LSV's in the fall of 1999, and produced the first Sedan model in April of 2001.
